Our first game in the group stage was against a premier elite team, Carshalton Atheltic from the West Surrey which we lost 4-0. The game was won and lost in the first half with Carshalton playing some football worthy of an elite league however the second half we managed to give them more of a game and kept a clean sheet. Great result against an elite team.

We did'nt allow our heads to drop against CTYFC Raiders and we pulled out a fantastic result winning 4-0!

Jason and Mirjan broke threw with some neat 1-2 movement and Jason finished bottom right for the opener. The second came from a well worked corner, Aaron played it short to Toby who turned and finished well, another 1-2 between Mirjan & Jason saw Jason finish bottom left this time. The fourth came from another worked corner this time Rob played to the near post, Jason first time strike and he had his hat-trick.

The last game of the group was to decide runner up position to go on to the qtrs as we played a group of four rather than five and we had a fastastic start to the game against Wangas Youth going one up after 4 minutes with another goal from Jason again breaking from the back but we started to sit deep again and invited them onto us and it was 1 all at half time and going onto beat us 4-1 in the end.

A really tough tournament with premier elite & premiership teams but yet again you battled and kept at it....playing against teams of this calibre will benefit us so much and you should be proud of your performance again today

Well done!!!

Played our first tournament today and it showed as the boys were very nervous in the first game to Ashford Town where we lost 2-0

The second game against Lyne A we gave a much better account of ourselves drawing that game 0-0

Our thrid game was by far our best performance but we lost 4-1 to Balham Blazers

Well done to Jason who scored our first and only Tournament goal today..

Please note this is OUR first tournament as a team and for some of the boys their first ever game....whilst me may not have have gone further in this one practice makes perfect and we'll keep at it......well done to everyone.

Training will consist of pratice 5 aside games so we're better focused for the next tournament at Badshot Lea

First game against eventual league winners finished 0-0, and what a fantastic start to the tournanment it was....

Our second game against Rushmoor Saints finished 1-1, having taking the lead with an excellent goal from Jason only to conceed an equaliser second before half time.

We beat Badshot Lea in our 3rd game 2-1, with Aaron setting up Jason for the first and Jason hit the target again late on finishing from outwide into an empty net.

The final group game against Fleet town saw us come back from one down to finish 1-1, Toby broke into the box and was taken down from behind but got up to stick the equalising penalty away well

Having finished runners up in the league phase we were now up againts Badshot Lea the winners of the second league

The semi final of the cup was a very tight game but we were made to suffer in the last minute of extra time for not taking our chances in normal time

An excellent day of football today and what a turn around from our first tournament

Well done today boys losing in the last minute of extra time in the semi final of only your second tournament, Brillant ..keep up the good work!!
